Mechatronics Lab Presented at STLE Philadelphia Section Educational Meeting
The Mechatronics Lab presented at the Educational Meeting organized by the Philadelphia Section of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), held at Sandy Run Country Club in Oreland, Pennsylvania.
Henry Krumrine and Jonah Tesler delivered a poster presentation titled “Listening to Failure: The Sound of a Failing Bearing.” Their research explores the use of acoustic signatures to detect early stage bearing failure, demonstrating how sound based diagnostics can support predictive maintenance and improve machinery reliability. The poster generated meaningful discussions with engineers, researchers, and industry professionals working in tribology and lubrication engineering.
Dr. Sayginer also gave a talk introducing the Mechatronics Lab at Temple University and highlighting current research activities. The presentation provided an overview of ongoing projects in intelligent sensing, machine health monitoring, and advanced mechatronic systems.
It was a productive and engaging event. Our team connected with professionals from across the field, exchanged ideas, and expanded our network, building relationships that may lead to future collaborations.
